The Principle of a Hose Reel

A pipe reel, also called a hose reel or spring reel, mainly consists of a support, spring, valve body, reel, hose, spring, and ratchet mechanism.

It retracts the pipe using a high-elasticity spring and utilizes a built-in pipe arranger for orderly arrangement. A pull-and-stop module can also be installed to control the pipe length at any time, saving space. Simply put, it relies on the spring to achieve automatic retraction.

The pipe reel uses an internal drive system to retract and extend the pipe. Its core structure includes a hose/wire, a rewind spring, a rotating shaft, and a safety device. Its working process is as follows:

Release Phase: Manually pull the pipe out to the desired length; the self-locking device automatically fixes the position.

Rewind Phase: Gently pull the pipe past the self-locking device; the spring or drive system provides the rewinding force, automatically retracting and storing the pipe.

The pipe reel is mainly used for organizing and storing pipes, especially long-distance pipes. In industrial drainage systems, it effectively manages spiral reels, preventing pipes from becoming tangled. The store offers industrial drainage spiral hoses, which can be customized and come in various specifications to meet the pipeline management needs of different scenarios. Their high-quality manufacturing process and Class A quality rating ensure product reliability and durability. Various spiral hoses and hose reels are available to effectively assist in organization and storage.
