Aligned with ISO 13579:2018 "Safety Requirements for High-Pressure Washers," special testing items for lithium battery units have been added. An English version of the standard text has been developed concurrently to promote mutual recognition of export certifications for domestically produced equipment. Technical indicators such as pressure rating and protection level are aligned with EU CE certification requirements.
Type testing includes a continuous 500-hour durability test, with no more than 3 downtimes due to malfunctions. Factory inspection requires 100% completion of sealing tests and no-load trial runs, and the inspection certificate must indicate key performance parameters and the factory serial number. The sampling base for supervision and spot checks is no less than 10 units, with a 100% pass rate for key items.
The equipment should consist of core components such as a pump unit, power unit, and pressure regulating device, with a maximum pressure output error not exceeding ±5%. Flow stability testing requires continuous operation for 2 hours under rated conditions, with flow fluctuation controlled within 3%. For lithium battery-powered models, the voltage is limited to no more than 60V and an overcharge protection module is required. This standard applies to small high-pressure washers with a working medium of ambient temperature clean water, a rated discharge pressure of 2.5-40 MPa, and a matching power of less than 15 kW, covering products driven by electric motors, hydraulic motors, internal combustion engines, and other types.
